The Giant Rugby Ball

Creating a Kiwi experience inside a 13m high inflatable rugby ball was no mean feat.  Working in the round where you had to be as conscious of your back as your front and needing cameramen who were happy to squat for extended periods of time below the lens-line was all part of it. However, Domain with the Darkroom and Dub Module pulled it off -  to great acclaim.  The French were mightily impressed (of course the kiwis had already left Paris).

Resurrecting the Ball in London gave us the opportunity to shoot new scenes that were full motion and fully immersive using a 6mm lens and a bespoke lens relay system onto the then recently released Red Camera.  Tres exciting.

Even the Queen was impressed.
