The best thing to do at Kawarau is to throw yourself off the bridge. The next best thing (briefly) was to go into the Bungydome; an audio visual experience hinged around the emotion of jumping. Designed in the round, the audience stood on a central turntable surrounded by 130 video monitors. The sequenced programme runs from 12 video source complemented by 5.1 sound and enough lights to be seen from the moon. Designed on the cusp of mapping technology ... another year and we would have designed in the round with projectors ...
